Central Park Yoga & Eating for Energy
Saturday June 7th
Join Kelly Dwyer of Do U Yoga and Meredith Sobel of Sobel Wellness for a movement and eating for energy workshop.
Wake up your body with an opening and energizing 60-min multi-level yoga practice. Our yoga practice will be a flowing vinyasa / hatha style, with attention to physical alignment and the breath. Beginners welcomed.
After our yoga practice, we'll enjoy a delicious organic lunch, made by Meredith Sobel, an Integrative Health and Wellness Coach and founder of Sobel Wellness. Our lunch will consist of creamy sesame dandelion greens, lentil salad with goat cheese, and an orange, walnut quinoa.
During lunch, Meredith will share her knowledge about eating for energy and vitality. We'll learn what to eat in order to feel a constant, unyielding and sustained energy release throughout the day.
Wear stretchy comfortable clothing, athletic pants or crop pants or shorts with a liner, a somewhat fitted t-shirt or tank top, and a light jacket or sweater if it is cooler. Layers are always a good idea.
Please bring a yoga mat, your open mind, water, sunhat, suncreen, insect repellent, sunglasses.
